Tamer Group wins the Supply Chain and Transport Award

Ettlingen, June 29th 2010 – PROMATIS congratulates their longtime customer, Tamer Group in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia to winning the Supply Chain and Transport Awards (SCATA) Middle East in the category of FMCG Supply Chain of the Year 2010. The company has contributed considerably to heighten the standards in the areas of warehousing and logistics in their country. PROMATIS supported Tamer with the optimization of its business processes and by introducing the Oracle E-Business Suite.

The Tamer Group is one of the leading and strongest investments trading companies in the pharmaceutical and consumer goods industry of Saudi Arabia. Tamer just opened a new state of the art logistics center in Jeddah, which is one of the largest in the country with a size of 32.000m². PROMATIS contributed with the introduction of integrated and process-oriented enterprise software to increase the efficiency of the processes in the group. The first step was a detailed examination of the initial situation as well as a SWOT analysis. A detailed survey of the business processes followed, which then were modeled with Horus Tools for the software implementation. It was possible to optimize the processes along the entire supply chain with the Oracle E-Business Suite - adapted to international standards.
