PROMATIS – Solution partner for Business Intelligence

PROMATIS has realized Business Intelligence solutions based on Oracle for more than 12 years. The preferred platform is the Enterprise Edition Plus of the Oracle Business Intelligence Suite in connection with Oracle Hyperion. Depending on customer requirements, we also use products of third-party suppliers, such as Cognos, Informatica or SAP BW. The magnitude of the PROMATIS BI-specialists lies in the connection of business and technology know-how.

• Data Warehousing

  The quality of the BI results depends primarily on the quality of the basis data. In many cases the existing volume of data must be consolidated first in comprehensive Data Warehouses or in range- or task-specific Data Marts and summarized if necessary. Our BI specialists take over conception, design and development of the Oracle Data Warehouses as well as multi-dimensional Data Marts. Besides that we plan and realize the necessary processes for extraction, transformation and loading (ETL) of the data into the Data Warehouse.

• Reporting und OLAP

  When using data flexibility has the highest priority. This reflects in our solutions for business intelligence portals, enterprise reporting, for ad-hoc-query & analysis as well as detailed online analysis and planning. According to the requirements we also use transaction systems next to data warehouses and data marts, e. g. in line with Daily Business Intelligence Applications on the Oracle E-Business Suite. We present the results on printed medias, on the web or on mobile devices (cell phone, pda). Our experience-spectrum enfolds among others the following components: Oracle Business Intelligence Applications, Oracle Hyperion, Discoverer, BI Interactive Dashboards, BI Answers, BI Publisher, BI Delivers, BI Plug-in for MS Office, Disconnected Analytics.

• Business Performance Management

  In the business performance management key indicators are derived on the basis of company targets and success factors, over which the business performance can be measured. Based on these key performance indicators (KPI) a monitoring and an early warning system are developed, which interact over personalizable web portals and mobile devices with the user. In Oracle environments completed applications such as BI Applications and Hyperion, individual portal solutions or Oracle Business Activities Monitoring (BAM) are applied.

• Data Mining

  Data Mining provides for automated recognizing of hidden connections within the data and makes statements for the future, due to historical values, possible. The PROMATIS experts possess conceptual Data Mining know-how - in particular concerning the implemented algorithms - and the experience of build-ups and utilization of Data Mining applications. Preferred we work with Oracle Data Mining, an option to the Enterprise edition of the Oracle database.
